Gumusluk is located in an area about 23 kilometers from Bodrum.
The current charm of this small fishing village is based on a great number of restaurants which are known and loved for well-prepared fish dishes. The historical Gumusluk, called Myndos in the antiquity, was then ruled by King Mausolus. On the wooden panel at the shore of the bay, you can read the story of this little settlement. According to it, the place was already inhabited in prehistoric times.
