Antik çağlarda Perge ve Side’nin yanı sıra bölgenin üçüncü büyük şehri olan Aspendos, Serik’in doğusunda, sahile bir kaç kilometre uzaklıkta bulunmaktadır.
Aspendos, 20.000 kişi kapasiteli tiyatrosuyla tanınmıştır. Bu antik tiyatro binası, Akdeniz sahilindeki en büyük yapıdır.
