Although the port city on the Turkish Riviera has grown into a metropolis, the Kaleiçi, the old town with its wooden Ottoman houses which is bordered both on the see and landside by the old but charming city walls, lets you enjoy many magical moments.
In the winding streets, you will hardly find any cars because the streets are so narrow to drive them. However twisty little roads may be, every alley leads ultimately to the port. There are rows of cafes and restaurants and beer gardens with spectacular views over the harbour.
